Our Homemade Products

Baked Goods

Your friends shouldn’t be flakey but your cinnamon rolls should. Our baker also bakes our brownies, and breakfast quiche using good ole’, tried and true southern recipes. We bake our Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in house, fresh daily.

Ice Cream

Good ice cream starts with high butter fat content in your cream. We get ours from the Mennonite Rock Spring’s Dairy. We continue with adding other local ingredients like blackberries grown in Green Frog Village, West Tennessee Strawberries, and local pecans. Our ice cream flavors include Blackberry, Strawberry, Banana Pudding, Butter Pecan, Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Frog Tracks, Cotton Candy, Birthday Cake, Cookies N Cream, Almond Cherry, Chai, Peppermint, Pumpkin, & Peach Amaretto. We sell our ice cream by the scoop, pint, or quart.

Soups & Sandwiches

Good soup takes time. We start by hand chopping our vegetables and slow cooking our brew on an outdoor propane burner. People are surprised how much chicken and real vegetables are in my mother’s signature chicken stew. Her recipes are old family recipes that have been pleasing taste buds for years. My sweet mild chili has twenty pounds of beef per batch seasoned with tender yellow onions and brown sugar. The sweet taste is balanced with a little heat from chili powder and cayenne pepper.

We also make our own chicken salad with fresh cooked chicken, pecans, and grapes. We use Velveeta cheese for our famous pimento cheese. We also make our own tuna fish with capers and bread n’ butter pickles.

Coffee Drinks

Our coffee is roasted fresh every week in downtown Jackson at Gourmet Beverage. The beans used to make our drinks are green the week before we use them. Our milk, like our beans, is also local and fresh. I grew up on a dairy farm and know the difference between dairy fresh real milk and the watered down version you find in a grocery store. Now, you will know, and taste, the difference too. Plus, you’ll also taste difference in our drink recipes: We have a mild roast, used the highest grade syrups on the market, and lean toward sweet not bitter.
